UHSM: University Hospital South Manchester
TYPOCOM were commissioned to create an informative and eye-catching graphic display along the primary thoroughfare at the University Hospital of South Manchester. The installation, which depicts the excellent clinical services provided at UHSM, stretches ten metres along the main outpatients corridor, and features images of the hospital's staff along with key departmental facts and figures.
The large format prints are matt coated, with additional text and imagery raised off the background and encased behind a high gloss finish. The solution was to produce a compact box as a method of holding as many pieces of information as required for a specific promotion, allowing either the group or the artist to decide exactly which items of literature were inserted. The individual booklets formed a showcase of selected works by each artist, with supporting biography and contact information.
